| What I did after FB broke my heart Posted: 26 Sep 2016 07:00 AM PDT 18 months ago I launched http://blogninja.com with the concept of a free incentivized training program to get people started learning how to make a blog and the key pillars of monetizing it. When I first launched it on my list, it did awesome. Then I had friends like John Chow, Zac Johnson, and others send it to their lists and, of course, it did awesome. Their audience was familiar with me. I then started a campaign on Facebook and was doing so well… SO well.. Until they deemed it against their guidelines (#%!@$%) and nuked my account(s). Loosing Facebook broke my heart for this project. Facebook is THE scalable solution of consistent traffic. So, in my search for traffic I started hearing about solo ads (People that would email your stuff but instead of a CPA they did a cost per click. The range is around .45 to .75, so NOT horrible). I tested many but that was all I could do was test because they can only blast out once. While it was profitable for me it was not scaleable. Then someone brought up a name from the past – Harris Fellman, who I have been acquaintances with for about a decade, and said he had a traffic network that particularly catered to email. It's called TrafficForMe. I signed up but then shot him a note of what I was trying to do. His network is a lot like solo mailers but all the people can scale. So, if the emailers worked for me then I could scale it up! I tested with several of his mailers and like any campaign start small work your way up, and before I knew it I had 5-6 SOLID guys I was spending 5k/day on together. Then that scaled up from there. These are not bulk emailers. They have good feeds of people in the verticals you are looking for traffic in. So, if you are in a position like me where you're outside of your warm traffic zone and Facebook / Google don't feel you are "within the guidelines" then you definitely should check out TrafficForMe.
