Could your blog use a bit of a refresh?

One of the best resources I know for established bloggers – those who've been blogging for anything upwards of a couple of months — is 31 Days to Build a Better Blog.

This was the first ebook published by ProBlogger (they've updated it quite substantially since).

It's one of the few blogging-related ebooks I find myself dipping back into on a regular basis, and one that's remained highly useful and relevant since it was first published.

What's so good about it? I particularly like:

The clear structure: each "day" (short chapter) follows the same pattern, with a clear explanation of the task, practical tips, a summary of the task itself, plus examples and further reading.
The focus on taking action. It's all too easy (for me, at least!) to get inspired and enthused by blogging advice, only to end up doing precisely nothing about it. This is very much a workbook, with a practical action for each day.
Clear examples from a wide range of bloggers. Sometimes it really helps to see something in action, rather than to simply read about what to do.
Honest and practical advice – while there are lots of great tips that should help you make fast progress, there's nothing shady or "get rich quick" about this ebook.
An extra week's worth of tasks in the downloadable bonus pack. The ebook itself is 139 pages long, so there’s a lot of great information here.

Although the 31 days started out as a series of free blog posts, Darren's added a lot of extra content into the ebook, and I feel that $29.99 is a very fair price. This is also a really nicely formatted, easy to read ebook.

The one very minor quibble I have is that it would be great to see a time estimate for each task (some of them are more involved than others). In general, if you're going to read each chapter thoroughly and carry out the task in full, I'd allow about 60 minutes per day.

Of course, you don't have to necessarily work through the book in a single month – you might instead choose to do two days from the book each weekend.

My Audiobook finally released!

Its been 1 year and 5 months since my autobiography was released on Amazon. Since release its sold hundreds of thousands of books and Barnes and Nobles even picked it up (rare for a self published book). There has also been hundreds of “request audiobook from the author” from Amazon and much like the original book… its been an adventure to get it completed.

Keep in mind this is my autobiography and not a “how to make money online” book. It is my life story. A lot of people have told me they got some great business tips and tricks from it and you might also but that is a side effect =P.

I will also warn you my book is pretty explicit. While I had a ghostwriter help me assemble it, the writing is 100% me and unedited for the most part. The book contains some of the semi criminal activity I did as a youth to my time in witness protection to my first 3some to cashing my first Google Check for $132,994.97 WHILE on unemployment to selling my own company and turning employees into millionaires overnight.

Its been a CRAZY ride and I am excited to share it with you.

is complete. Full charge will take an hour.
It will increase the charging time while operating at the
same time.
